7 Months Old

Hello family and friends! Jacob loves his doggies!! This month has gone by fast and Jacob gets more fun everyday. He went to the doctor this month for his check ups , more shots and everything looked great. :) He weighs 20 lbs. and is 28 inches long. We didn't get an exact percentile this time, but the doctor predicted he is in the 80th for weight and 80-90 for length. Joe and I think he sure has stetched out alot! He seems so much longer from when he was born. The doctor was very impressed with his babbling skills and calling Joe Dada Dada. I don't have a name yet! hahahaha But he can put his lips together and say mmmmmm. So thats our first step. He loves to repeat what you say and he will grab your face and stare at your lips when you talk to him. He is also much more aware of everyone and who you are. When he wants Daddy or Mommy, he'll let you know! hahaha He'll put his arms up when he wants to be picked up, which is so cute. We are not crawling yet but he is always rocking and taking one or two steps forward. We are definately not in a hurry for him to either! I love my cuddly bear!! Jacob can grab onto our furniture and stand also. When he is on the floor he loves to stand and dance to music. Just grab onto those hands and boogie with him. It is so funny and cute seeing him move his body! We have gotten so much funny and cute footage of him on our vidoe camera this month. We have added more to his current menu too. He loves apple sauce, green beans, and peaches. So glad he is not a picky eater. We just put him in that high chair and he gets so excited. He starts babbling and yelling. hahahaha Our doctor said it was great that he is talking and babbling, because that shows his cognitive part of his brain is working. So, with all that said and everything going along normal, it always make us feel so blessed to have a healthy baby boy. We can't believe it all happens so fast.
