 Let's go Daddy!
A picture of the dam from a lookout point.
Hello Joshua, you relaxing?
The marina at the cove. A fleet of boats and wave runners.
We try to get a picture together when we can....
My new favorite playground equipment, bouncing butterfly!
 Jump in again Jake!
Love the zero entry for Josh!
We had an amazing time at the family friendly resort with our boys. It was their first time to be on a lake and experience head on the lake fun amenities!! Jacob loved the waverunner with Joe, Jacob also kayacked by himself, and we took a family paddle boat around the cove on Table Rock Lake. Every night the boys fished with Joe off the dock and played on the playground before dinner. If that wasn't enough, we had 3 pools to play in and relax. The oasis pool seemed to be our favorite. So needless to say, we didn't spend much time in our condo, but it was very comfortable and super nice to have a kitchen to cook in. Jacob was fearless on the water slide and inner tubes. Joshua loved splashing around, jumping into the pool and kicking to get his toys. We also visited the landing in Branson and was able to eat at the Bass Pro Fish Restaurant. On our last day, we went to visit the dam that makes Table Rock and fish hatchery conservation museum. Lots of brown trout being produced for the lake. We look forward to visiting again and renting a boat next time! Wonderful place!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Joshua

Joshua spent his birthday party at Grandma Cece's and Papa Mike's house with his cousin Abbygail. We celebrated a couple weeks before his actually birthday, so that the cousins could be showered together! Happy 1st birthday to Abbygail! Aunt Suzanne made a cute Elmo cake for the kids, and it was delicious. Joe's family came over, and we had a great time visiting, eating cake, and opening gifts. On July 31, we got Joshua another minicake and blew out candles once again! We are so happy for our little man who is growing and learning. Our boys are so much fun to see grow up together!

Mustang Island

While we were visiting my family in south Tx, we took the boys one morning to the beach. Its something I always looked forward to as a kid. We went every summer, and I have many memories of my family at the beach. The boys had a wonderful time building tunnels and castles. Jacob was able to go out with Joe and swim some too. But, nothing compares to the look on their face when they heard the waves, smelled the salt and felt the breeze off the waves coming in. The were in awe. That was a HUGE memory for me. It makes me so happy to see them enjoy the water so much!

Happy 5th Birthday Jacob!

Water splashing with my cousins Katelyn and Nicholas.
Thank you for the awesome cake Aunt Lisa!
 Another toy I really wanted!
Grandma Vivi can I have both kinds of ice-cream?
I'm King for the day everybody!
Happy boy with Chucky and his friends.
OOO, more tickets in the ticket blaster for me?!
Jacob was a lucky boy because he had not 1 but 3 birthday parties!!! We went to visit my parents in TX and found out that we were surprised by Uncle Max and Aunt Lisa with a transformer birthday party! Later, after my father passed, we took my mom to south TX to see her family and spent May 27 with his great grandma Maria. My Aunt Mary surprised Jacob once again with a cake! Lots of love. After, our TX trip we made it back safe and Jacob had his Chucky Cheese Party with friends and family. Pheww,,,I think that was it! Busy few weeks, but memories forever for our little boy.

A Father's Love, God's Blessing

In memory of my father Raul C. Trevino. January 10, 1951- May 22, 2012.

When I am gone, release me-let me go...
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave to you my love, you can only guess,
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I traveled on alone.
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on, So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near and if you listen with your heart you'll hear, All my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say "Welcome Home."

We will always love our Daddy and Grandpa. Through all of this, I miss the most the protection and love a parent has for their child.

Our first season of baseball

Since the middle of April, Jacob started practicing tball. The beginning of May we had our first game. Jacob has enjoyed it so much! Joe is helping coach and Jacob is on the same team with three of his friends from church. Since the beginning the team has improved so much. All the kids get to hit and get on base. All the kids are also on the field. Jacob's favorite position is pitcher bc most of the balls hit come right to him. We have our last two games next week and end it all with s team pool party. Loving all the memories we are making!

18 month check up

Well our littlest guy is doing really well and we feel so blessed he is healthy. He seems to be growing just fine. I take the statistics lightly but it always makes me curious! Lol Joshua is 25 pounds (15%) and in the 60% for height. If you know my baby well, you know he always likes to eat! So, yes it was a little shocking to see him that low in weight compared to peers. But, not to worry, we know they all grow differently and Joshua will grow different from his big brother!
Joshua is on the quite side so far, but we started tantrums and screaming very well. Ha! However, though it's only a stage, I really remind myself he's only showing his feelings. They do grow up so fast. Josh likes climbing on playground equipment and slides down alone as I wait at the bottom. He seems to like the tube slides best. He runs chasing after brother of course! Joshua is talking more and I noticed repeats a word here and there little bit more. My new favorite word he repeats is gee for geese. We have many geese on the lake right now behind the house. The other word I love is shooze for shoes. It just cracks me up between Jacob's stories and josh's ham moments. One thing is true it doesn't matter how bad a mood your in or how tired, your kids seem to always know the way to keep a smile on your face!
