4 months old

Wow! We can not say enough about how much fun our son is to play with and watch grow!!!

Our friend Shantel told us about a Bumbo seat a while back, and after going shopping at Toys R Us we saw one and got it and the tray for Jacob. It is his favorite seat now (well second to Daddy's lap of course! :) He really enjoys playing in it and feeling like a Big Ol' Boy! He is also starting to grow into his exersaucer, which he also likes to spend time in.

Jacob went to the doctor on Sept. 27th. The doctor had to double check his chart to make sure he wasn't a six month old baby!!! I guess Jacob felt like showing off, because he was sitting up by himself, rolling around and like Joe says squealing an elk call. The doctor told us he looks and acts like an average 6 mo. old. He definitely is conquering those gross motor skills, so that made us very proud. Well, to tell you the truth we already knew he looked like a 6mo old, because he is wearing 6-9mo clothing already. He is weighing in at 17 lbs and 26 inches. He is 80% heavier than babies his age but 85% longer. Look out world, here we come! :) Big Jake will see ya doc at 6 months!!!

Right now he loves for Mommy to sing 5 Little Monkeys Swinging From the Tree and Grandma CeCe sings Jesus Loves Me everyday she is watching him. So, lately he will hum and laugh with you as you sing to him. Pretty cute!!! God Bless Our Little One.......
