Happy Birthday to me I am 3!!!

Here is the end of the party, presents, and play time and you can tell Jacob looks pooped. But nothing, I mean nothing was going to stop from eating 2 BIG pieces of cake.

This is a funny story. We were all singing happy birthday to both the kids. When the song was over, Jacob blew out the candle all by himself. Ellie turned and glared and said"You were not suppossed to do that yet." Her Mom Julie, my good freind said oh well, she was looking around and not paying attention. But, Papa Mike couldn't stand the look on her face and lit the candle again for Ellie to blow out by herself. Jacob just put his head on the table and waited. It was comical, you had to be there I guess! hahaha


























OH MY THE BIG PRESENT I HAVE BEEN WANTING!!!

So, that was it. Some pictures of his big day. He had so much fun and at the end of the day all that matters is if everyone had a good time! YEAH!!It was a Diego and Dora party but the kids recieved so many Toy Story gifts. hahaha





Boy time sure does pass fast. I can't believe my baby is a little 3 yr. old boy now. When Jacob opened his Buzz toy, I cried. It was because I was so happy to see him so happy! I couldn't believe I was standing there behind him the whole time just in awe of all the family and friends we had around us. I just truely felt touched by God at that moment in time.



Well, now I am ready to do it all over again. Another boy on the way and Jacob said that is a birthday gift too Mommy. I couldn't help but tell him Yes, baby it will be gift.





All the things we love about Jacob, things that our little man has accomplished, and all the things our boy loves to do....



"Mommy can I kiss you and the baby..."


I can recite nursery ryhmes by heart, his favorite he says right now is Goosey Goosey Gander


I have several books memorized too


I can count to 30 now!


I can recite the alphabet


I know sounds to some of my letters now

I know almost all my uppercase letters

I can spell my name and recognize it


I know all my colors


I know the shapes circle, square, rectangle, triangle, heart, crescent moon, and star.


"Daddy put me down...I want to hear a story when you were a little boy."


"Mommy PLEASE read me another book."


When my cellphone rings "Big Green Tractor", he says "Mommy that is MY song" in his cute voice and expression... and starts singing it



Sings along with his bible songs in the truck and really any song on his kid cd's



He loves watching Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Swiss Family Robinson, Charlottes Web, and Cars



He loves riding his motorcycle and tractor outside, swimming, hunting, fishing, looking at any book



When I spell p-o-o-l he immediatley says Mommy when are we going?



He can spell stop and go



I like to build with legos, tube trax, and now lincoln logs



I play with playdough and make Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Papa



I also like to stamp my letters on the play dough



I love to cut paper with my scissors


I love using markers and coloring


I love going to my tumbling class once a week


Says his prayers at night and at the table all by himself


Tells Daddy "When I grow up I am going to work hard and help you pay the bills!" haha


Sturnly says at Rowdy "Stop licking Toby, he doesn't like it!"


Loves talking on the phone and pushing the speaker phone button


When you drive off or leave he yells "Be safe and don't get a ticket!"


Gives the best bear hugs and kisses...



"Mommy talk about when you were a little girl "


"Mommy I will be a good helper for my baby boy"


"Daddy lets wrestle!"

"Mommy you are a good teacher."

My absolute favorite:


"Mommy I am so happy you stay home with me now. I have fun. We have fun together."
