Can we go to the park yet Daddy?
Here is a picture of Jacob reading his favorite books. The next day we got our new furniture, Jacob insisted on reading at the new coffee table stools. The books he favors are Go Dog Go, Blue Hat Green Hat, and Brown Bear Brown Bear. He reads the first nine pages of Go Dog Go by himself. He also has the whole book Blue Hat Green Hat down. He turns the pages, points to the words with no one to one yet, but come on! He has them all memorized. Brown Bear Brown Bear he has down pat. He turns open the book and tells you:
Brown Bear Brown Bear, what do ya see?
Red Bird Red Bird, what do ya see?
Yellow Duck Yellow Duck, what do ya see?
Blue Horse Blue Horse, what do ya see?
Green Frog Green, what do ya see?
Purple Cat Purple Cat, what do ya see?
White Dog White Dog, what do ya see?
Black Sheep Black Sheep, what do ya see?
Goldfish Goldfish, what do ya see?
Teacher Teacher what see?
Children children what see?
Then he goes back over all of the colored animals again at the last page. I think we know our colors!! hahahaha
Jacob knows all the letters in his name and the sounds to some of them. He also counts to 12 and recognizes the numbers 1-10. He also knows more letters in the alphabet.
Here is at the park on the slider. He can hold on the whole way to the end.
Happy Halloween to Aunt Becky and her cute costume!! ;)
