20 Months Old

We had some storm doors installed in our house, and Jacob insisted on following the guy around and mimic him. Luckily, the guy had two baby boys and is very used to it! hahaha
He pulled out the measuring tape and started to measure the doors!

Whew, I am tired. I took this picture after just coming in from outside and Jacob just had a seat. He was busy playing with our neighbor Brady who is 18 mo. old.

Jacob is trying to put together two words now. Most kids don't start putting two words together until they have 50 words in their vocabulary or are older than two. So it is nice to hear him picking up a little more language. He likes to say "Good Dog" a lot around the house and talk to Toby and Rowdy. Instead of saying up or down, he is connecting by saying Mama up, Mama down. He can also tell you more animal sounds, and he tries to jump like a kangaroo too. Lately, we have also noticed him picking up more on songs. He can finish the verse for you if you sing Old McDonald had a farm..."EIEIO." He loves music.
