15 Months Old and Going to the STATE FAIR!

It was cute to see the boys watching the beef cattle judging together.

Joe used to use this in the Army and be in charge of MLRS (missles.) Jacob thought it was so big!

When Jacob saw the Howitzer helicopter, he immediately wanted to get in it.

We also saw a swine judging competition. Joe used to show pigs when he was younger. So, it was all very familiar to him.

I love horses! I always have loved them and I think they are just beautiful animals. So, of course Jacob and I got to pet some

Jacob's favorite part of the day, I think was the kid zoo. He is obsessed right now with Turtles. We saw a huge 3 feet wide turtle in the tent and he screamed louder than every kid "TURTLE MAMA!!!" He was so excited to see one that big! It was so much fun to spend the day at the fair. We are going to try to go every year now. Jacob didn't take a nap the whole day, because there was so much to see. By, 8:00 pm when we were watching the rodeo bronc riding ...well that was our cue to head home. He was a very tired booger.

15 months has passed fast and everyday our little one is growing and learning. We had our first emergency room incident this month with a bad goose egg to the forehead, but all checked alright. Jacob is a tough little guy. He is enjoying the last days of summer before it gets chilly and we are living it up outside till it does. Thank God for warm weather! We love it!!!
